I'm sure most of us have heard of John Helldiver, John Pork, John Rod, John Quite Literally Anything. And so, when I started thinking of a domain for my VPS to use, I wondered - is there a John Internet? I mean, surely someone has thought of this before, right?

Turns out, they had not. Funnily enough, I only thought of johninternet.com at first (I mean, .com *is* the standard TLD most people think of), and only then did someone enlighten me that... .net is also a TLD that exists. And much to my delight, johninter.net was also available. Considering that both domains cost me a grand total of... 2 EUR a month, I figured - why not become John Internet, eh?
